God does not just set us on a path, He walks it with us.
We grow in His unity as we listen and obey the voice of the Lord.
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone HEARS MY VOICE and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelations 3:20
A relationship with God is Where the Father and his child live as one. Where the child lives in love, respect, honor and submission to their Father and the Father loves, protects, provides for and instructs His child. The foundation of the relationship is communication. The only way you know Gods will for your life right now, is for Him to tell you. For Him to tell you, you must listen. People try to find meaning for their lives through the bible, people try to have a relationship with God through the bible. They try to have a relationship vicariously through Paul, or David or the woman at the well. The try and lay claim to the words God spoke to them. The fact of major importance is that God spoke to them. He spoke to all of them, all the great bible people lived a life of obedience to the voice of God, specially Jesus. God spoke to them and He wants to speak to you. Directly to you. Not through someone else or cryptic little messages that you have to uncover like a detective mystery. Not through inspiration”just like the penny dropped” or goose bumps, the people who follow dead false gods rely on such things. Our God is alive and articulate.

The process of growth is of vital importance. God created the world and the way in which it functions. Tiny seeds grow into to huge trees, over time. Season change from one to the other gradually. Its not spring one day and summer the next as it is on the calendar. Things grow, God has a time schedule. As we walk a path of relationship with God we grow into His image and life. We cannot be like Him instantly. People try this and never grow as they are never honest with themselves or God. Always faking, always pretending that there’re changed while the hearts remain the same despite there intense effort and struggle.
Leopards painting over there spots, but the paint doesn’t hold they are left exposed and embarrassed.
As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth,so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.

A relationship with God is for here and now, we do not need to wait for heaven. When we live in a relationship with God we live in Heaven here. As we grow close to Him we take on the character of Him, we start to live like him as well. This is the true path of prosperity in every way. As we grow into the image of God we attract the things of the light and repel the things of the darkness. We start living as children of God instead of children of satan. Not by trying to impose rule upon rule and law upon law but by an internal change that accompanies a deepening relationship with God. We need not struggle as a leopard trying to change his spots, which is impossible and only brings frustration and self condemnation.We only need concern ourselves with our relationship with God and allow our inward person to change which will be reflected in external behavioral change.
The tide rises, the tide falls,
The twilight darkens, the curlew calls;
Along the sea-sands damp and brown
The traveller hastens toward the town,
And the tide rises, the tide falls.
Darkness settles on roofs and walls,
But the sea, the sea in the darkness calls;
The little waves, with their soft, white hands,
Efface the footprints in the sands,
And the tide rises, the tide falls.
The morning breaks; the steeds in their stalls
Stamp and neigh, as the hostler calls;
The day returns, but nevermore
Returns the traveller to the shore,
And the tide rises, the tide falls.
Lately.
Its hard not to think.
About you.
About us.
About the past.
About the good memories (especially).
About your smile.
About your touch.
And your face so close to mine.
All you had.
We had it all for just a moment.
Reminiscing…

overlooking is overcoming
Are we too fast in judging others?

There are many people who have come to God for salvation but only know of God and do not enjoy a personal, intimate, living, relationship with Him.
They understand that Jesus died on the cross but fail to understand why.Understanding what he did does not necessarily imply an understanding of why He did it and therefore, does not necessarily translate into life experience.
When Jesus took the punishment for our sins He did not do it so we could escape hell and go to heaven. Jesus came and died so that we could have a relationship with the Father.Of course having a relationship with God means that we live with him, where He is, which is heaven.
Eternal life in heaven is a byproduct of being involved in a relationship with God. As with all of the Kingdom of God the relationship comes first, as a result of this relationship many wonderful things flow into our lives. These things come as we grow and develop into the image of our Father.
Everything that comes from God is because of a relationship with God. A relationship that is based on trust, honor, respect and communication.
Sometimes I wish we had something called the healing antidote to all hurts and scars.
We pray,we seek and we know that there is no such thing as antidote in the world because Jesus is the antidote. Through the shedding of his blood we are free from pain and Im eternally grateful for that.
